Reason Code 4808: Cardholder-Activated Terminal 3 Device

An unauthorized transaction was processed at an unattended terminal (cardholder-activated terminal).

A cardholder used their card at an unattended terminal, but the transaction amount exceeded Mastercard's set limits. Alternatively, the card used wasn't valid at the time of the transaction.

• Stick to Mastercard's maximum transaction amount limits.
• Send authorization requests before processing transactions.
