Reason Code 4834: Point of Interaction Error

Cardholder claims they were billed multiple times for the same transaction.

The merchant: 

• Sent a batch of transactions more than once.
• Deposited the sales and merchant copy.
• Created multiple sales receipts for one transaction.
• Deposited the receipt with different acquirers.
• Processed one transaction multiple times.

• Ensure you submit only one batch.
• Review your receipts before you deposit.
• Ensure you credit duplicate transactions.
