Reason Code 12.6.2: Paid by Other Means

The cardholder claims that they made payments by other means, i.e., check, cash, or another card.

The cardholder initially gives the merchant a Visa card for the payment but changes their mind and uses a check, cash, or another card to make the payment.

• If a customer makes the payment using other methods, credit the processed Visa card transaction.
• Train your sales team on how to handle credits.
