The cardholder initially gives the merchant a Visa card for the payment but changes their mind and uses a check, cash, or another card to make the payment.
Response
Cardholders and issuers have 120 days to file a dispute related to the claim against the merchant.
Merchants have 20 days to respond to the claim in dispute.
Steps to Prevention
If a customer makes the payment using other methods, credit the processed Visa card transaction.
